Crow has grown out of that role as he’s grown up, but he still has a lot of emotional baggage and a complicated story to uncover since the expansion of Beyond Light. I’ve said in the past that Crow worked really well as a semi-hero for Destiny 2, giving us a point of view character who hasn’t been doing the whole Guardians thing for hundreds of years, and this Kind spends time learning the ropes and questioning the status quo. This in particular served as a great payoff for Crowe, whose arc has been one of tackling his past as Uldren Sov in the past year and transformation. Each of the weekly missions focused on a single character, and while not being too detailed, they went straight into the psyche of Crow, Zavala, and Cattle.
